According to Hindu tradition, the sari is a ritual symbol of renewal. As old saris are discarded, they are replaced by new ones...thus completing the circle.
As a result, spectacular old saris, woven and embroidered with real gold and silver thread are being unceremoniously thrown into a fire and reduced to their precious metals.
It therefore gives us great pleasure to contribute to the ritual cycle of renewal in a different way... saving these treasures from fire and preserving artistry by recycling vintage textiles into beautiful accessories.
You can make a difference by committing to the Hindu tradition of renewal!
