 Putu and Dragan teamed up in Bali and started collaborative works using recycled glass to create one of a kind vessels that are exclusively sold at the AsiaStore. By melting down recycled glass and hand-blowing it into vessels, Putu and Dragan create original works of art that combine elements from both eastern and western cultures.
Drago Nagard, known as Dragan in the duo, is an accomplished interior, furniture, and glass designer, while Putu Padika is a creative entrepreneur who built his own kiln from scratch.
Eight years ago Dragan met a young Balinese student of art, Putu from the village of Mas. He supported Putu through his studies and gave him work experience in his production studio. Out of this exposure and involvement was born a collaboration of the accomplished art of the west and the fresh perspective of the east.
