 It all began on a tiny living room table in 2003, where coming home from work, Pam Yang Hiranyasthiti would bead away the night, creating pieces ordered by friends. There were many to make but with only one pair of hands, it was never fast enough. So the dream started. “What if I could train a group of talented Thai women to bead my designs? I could provide them a better livelihood, and they could choose to work at home, earning yet being with their children?” Then one day, a chic store owner caught sight of a bracelet on her arm, and wanted to place an order.
In 2004, Pam left her full time job to pursue her dream, and Pam Hiran Ltd was born. Now more than a dozen able hands (and fast increasing), lovingly stitch her designs, bead by painstaking bead.
Made in Bangkok, Thailand, each Pam Hiran creation is completely hand stitched and sewn with the strictest quality standards. It is no surprise for a piece to be repeated, till it is perfect. Because components include the tiniest Japanese seed beads, just one piece could take days or weeks to produce.
