According to journalist Robin Wright (Rock the Cashbah: Rage and Rebellion Across the Islamic World), "the counter-Jihad will define the next decade as thoroughly as the extremists dominated the last one." Media and arts are at the forefront of this revolution. Wright will be joined by poet and journalist Eliza Griswold (The Tenth Parallel), cultural ambassador Zeyba Rahman and artist Mohsin Din to discuss the shifting situation in the Muslim world, and the impact of arts and culture on change. Moderated by Rachel Cooper, Director of Performing Arts and Cultural Programs, Asia Society.
This program is part of Asia Society's ongoing initiative, Creative Voices of Islam in Asia.
