 Struck by the beauty of a Buddha statue’s hair, Zayd knew he would never be able to shake that image from his mind’s eye and got the idea for his signature collection: THE BUDHACURL collection.
The first BUDHACURL pieces were completely hand-made. He was later able to perfect his design in collaboration with a wax carver. After sketching the look of a piece, a wax model is carved to cast the piece in. The process, depending on the complexity of design, usually takes around three months.
